The backgrounds to why we chew,eat,and swallow in energy terms as related to the
universe we live in and scifi science.
Each galaxy has some limitations of the types of creatures that have variables of the nr of Jaw bones. As related to the larger outer zones of the galaxy, the appearance of more than just 2 jaws would be the rule. There would exist creatures with 3 or more jaws.
The rule to this , implies that the more jaws a creature has, the lower it's intelligence. Because we humans have only 2 jaws we are able to specialize in talking and making
data as well as survival and making peace.
The JAW DNA would be the amount of galaxy sections 1,2,3,4 and their stretching to encompass the larger space for more species survival than just human.
The other rule of the galaxy: "That the further you are from the galaxy center, the greater the nr of teeth and jaws of the creatures living there. So the reputation humans have made for themselves = that we would eat anything to survive .

Mastication is primarily an unconscious (semi-autonomic) act, but can be mediated by higher conscious input. The motor program for mastication is a hypothesized central nervous system function by which the complex patterns governing mastication are created and controlled.
It is thought that feedback from proprioceptive nerves in teeth and the temporomandibular joints govern the creation of neural pathways, which in turn determine duration and force of individual muscle activation (and in some cases muscle fiber groups as in the masseter and temporalis).

Sharks have existed as long as any archaeological data indicates from the time of the dinosaurs. So it would have evolved at a steady state of survival by growing teeth and developing it's jaw to have about 5 or more layers of teeth.
Every planet in the galaxy and every galaxy in the universe has representations of the types of multi jawed biology that exist there and each has some change of appearance.

Perhaps the various planetary systems may be linked together, not by human evolutionary developments of humans but by the greater grasp on survival as having the greater amounts of jaws and jaw bones. In this way then, the certainty would be that we would encounter the same types of animals such as Sharks in our planetary vicinity.
At each new successive planetary stage, the evolutionary drive becomes the ability to consume more in place of visual usage and survival that we humans have developed.
So that it may be true that our own Solar system and strings of stars that belong to our human position in the galaxy may have the evolutionary drive for more of the shark type and more of the appearance that sharks have.Just like other systems with their own Alien and human awareness would have lower biological creatures such as SARLAAC which would share it's similarity of appearance in other planets, as part of that string of stars and planets in that zone of the Milky way.

vibrations of a photo luminescence type of recognition that functions in lower gravity environments
that also have lower spectra interaction with color than our own planet and the spectra responses to
the gravity of Earth.
The Sharks would be superior in that they move in water which has little or no obstacles in it's way
because it's body mass can push the only barriers in the oceans to it's side, meaning any smaller aquatic
life forms.The shark teeth basically count the amount of generations that they have lived through from the
age of dinosaurs to this present age, so they keep track of their survival by projection of the amounts of
other aquatic species that remain from the dinosaur age, usually smaller organisms such as algae which
it does not eat but opts from the algae sense perception in other aquatic creatures.
The Mynoccs may exist where there is little or no life present as a organism that lives off larger organisms
and as such dwell in places that have mineral elements so that their teeth would be a mix of organic and
minerals.Their teeth then, would be able to conduct electricity of the bio kinetic type of vibrational energy
that exists in space and in asteroids.
The Sarlaac exists in sand where it waits at the bottom of it's own depth perception , being supported below
the sand to such a depth that it can support itself and waits for food by using it's extra gravity sense of it's teeth.
MEaning that it has a digestive system that melts the food ,just like sand may be heated and made into a molt that
then becomes glass. So it's ability to conduct channeling by using glass like the prism for light, this creature
would feed on the smaller crystalline structures of any organism that has them or so that it creates more crystals
and that it uses what crystals it has to create more.
The creatures that have very large jaws would be another stage of evolution where the functions of eating would
opt for the jaw swallowing itself by change of the jaw direction on itself. As such these types of creatures would
exist in the galactic evolution as those that have some sense of non gravity and are able to control space on their
own, moving it's jaws forwards over it's body and then over it's tail and back again. It could be that this method
of evolution could define the types of spaceships that exist and that the multi jaw organisms evolved from pet animals
to human type sentient beings that went on voyages with them that involved large gravity functions that use the inverse
of 2 sides connected by a tubular circumference.
Here then the jaw function as it swallows itself on either ends of a tube that represents it's body by using the jaws (as the sectioned tube and as it changes size
