MAYA 2012
and the BLIND PEOPLES
by Henryk Szubinski
Having studied at Lund's university as an archaeologist i started to think about the system of their calendar. I began to build small sculptures out of ceramics that were to
be similar to the Mayan numerical system. These BRAILLE ceramic bricks are about 15 cm in length and about 7 cm in width and they have holes in them as well as
protruding discs and hollowed out parts.
As such i began to wonder about these small numerical systems made of clay and hardened in the ceramics oven that i visit one a week. It all started to make sense that their calendar was a type of "blind BRAILLE" language. The type of language needed for blind people to understand text may have been in use in the Mayan culture.
But why would they have a blind alphabet ? when most of their art demands very precise art skills ?.
The answer must be that the Mayans had at some time in their history gone blind. This may have effected many of the Mayan populace but why?.
The answer is that they observed the sun as part of their astronomical research, and very precise at that. So when they used their eyes to look on the
Sun, they were blinded by its direct and harmful rays. It may be that they were also exposed to the suns light at a period when the Sun was having
very active surface storms and that this light caused a period in Mayan history that was so dry that most people not only became blind but that they
started to search for a way to hide from the Sun.
Most of you know that Mayan culture is about magic because you have probably read or heard about the Carlos Castaneda books about the sorcerer
Don Juan. Don Juan is stated to have said that the Art of dreaming occured as an invention, just like the invention of fire . And that in his point of view
the invention of dreaming had not occured anywhere in the world except for the Mayan region.
It is obvious that the night side of the planet Earth has greater shade from light displaceing from the Sun than being in the shade at day time. So for some
reason the Mayans used the BRAILLE system during the day to communicate ,not only what they were doing but also what they were palning to do at the night side.
It was this BRAIL language that made reason function like a small calendar that displaced the MAYANS dreams from one BRAILLE image to another that became
apparent during the resulting visions that were reported to have meaning as a new language. The dreamer could make a date with a BRAILLE READING during the
day
and give an answer to the contact at night. So learning how to do this by oneself was important . Because the message would be interpreted by oneself
in dreams . In dreams we usually don't know what we are searching for but we seem to know or feel that there is a message in our mind from the previous day.
It was in this way that the MAYANS made their astronomy the predictive system of counting that was to predict the SUNS HEIGHTENED ACTIVITY as solar flares
and eruptions of large plasma zones as well as dark spots on the Sun in the year 2012 when it would become obvious that humans could be faced with blindness
because our eyes are our most sensitive sense organs we have.

Braille /ˈbreɪl/ (French pronunciation: [bʁaj]) is a tactile writing system used by people who are blind or visually impaired. It is traditionally written with embossed paper. Braille-users can read computer screens and other electronic supports thanks to refreshable braille displays. They can write braille with the original slate and stylus or type it on a braille writer, such as a portable braille note-taker, or on a computer that prints with a braille embosser.
Braille is named after its creator, Frenchman Louis Braille, who lost his eyesight due to a childhood accident. In 1824, at the age of 15, Braille developed his code for the French alphabet as an improvement on night writing. He published his system, which subsequently included musical notation, in 1829.[1][2] The second revision, published in 1837, was the first binary form of writing developed in the modern era.
Braille characters are small rectangular blocks called cells that contain tiny palpable bumps called raised dots. The number and arrangement of these dots distinguish one character from another. Since the various braille alphabets originated as transcription codes of printed writing systems, the mappings (sets of character designations) vary from language to language. Furthermore, in English Braille there are three levels of encoding: Grade 1 – a letter-by-letter transcription used for basic literacy; Grade 2 – an addition of abbreviations and contractions; and Grade 3 – various non-standardized personal shorthands.
Braille cells are not the only thing to appear in braille text. There may be embossed illustrations and graphs, with the lines either solid or made of series of dots, arrows, bullets that are larger than braille dots, etc. A full Braille cell includes six raised dots arranged in two lateral rows each having three dots.[3] The dot positions are identified by numbers from one through six.[3] 64 solutions are possible from using one or more dots.[3] A single cell can be used to represent an alphabet letter, number, punctuation mark, or even an entire word.[3]
Here then, the BRAILLE text.

The Mayans realized early on that watching the Sun with their bare eyes was damaging. They responded likewise to their way of walking. It became a priority to walk straight and look forwards. In this way the invention of dreaming gave results from the Mayans from within. Because they knew that if they could get their eye vision back it would be because in dreams they saw the same reality as they remembered before the Sun became a problem. So inner and outer vision became their way of existence.
