One of the famous Conquestadors from SPAIN that fought against the MAYAN INDIANS and who had some knowledge of the secret of the MAYAN SORCERY and the use of the ASSEMBLAGE POINT POSITION.
This POSITIONING of the "WEAK POINT" or "strong position" of the body as having some position that is "HARD to GET to".
So it must be the best position of the MAYAN INDIANS own way to defend themselves.

Previous to the age of enlightenment or during it's early years some kings wore the CONQUISTADORS ARMOR and SHOWED it with flowing garbs.

Kinich Ahau[pronunciation?] (K'inich Ajaw) is the 16th-century Yucatec name of the Maya sun god, designated as God G when referring to the codices. In the Classic period, God G is depicted as a middle-aged man with an aquiline nose, large square eyes, cross-eyed, and a filed incisor in the upper row of teeth. Usually, there is a k'in 'sun'-infix, sometimes in the very eyes. Among the southern Lacandons, Kinich Ahau continued to play a role in narrative well into the second half of the twentieth century.
That the Conquest of the MAYAN civilization meant that the Conquistadors were able to claim the MAYAN GODS ,also means that they aquired the ARMOR of GODS as their own to wear and perhaps that the designs of the MAYAN CODEX included the methods to make METAL ORNAMENTS and ARMOR in some special way. So then this would be the secret of the MAYAN IMMORTALS and their methods of METAL and COLOR and SOUND ( see Metallurgy of the Mezzo Americas).
The ARMOR was probably the cause of the FRENCH REVOLUTION and the AGE of ENLIGHTENMENT as the reflector of the SUNS light and would have been gold.
So what happened to the gold?. It was probably POLISHED OFF by some type of SCRUBBING method. So the ARMOR was the give away of how the MAYANS could make GOLD surfaces and also how to make large surfaces with gold ,like the ARMOR and it's bend shape.

KINGS or GODS of MAYA as the ability to REFLECT THE SUNS light
when WEARING any MAYAN GOLDEN ARMOR or cloth. So then the
motion of the WEARER would reflect the SUNS LIGHT in the various
REFLECTIVE VALUES seen in the calendar stone.

The myth of the "CITY of GOLD" may be t rue in that the gold color of it was reflected from the obsidian glass that covered it, not like the theories that white stone as marble.
The obsidian would reflect every color in the visable spectrum.
This effect would function like the ONE WAY MIRROR that you could see into it, without seeing anything because of the OBSIDIAN GLASS. But when you were in some point of observation ,the visual effect of the whole spectrum would be visable. This was the special observation of the kings and gods.
The effects of the OBSIDIAN as the LIGHT SHOW of the AGES functioned by the reflection of the sky together with the various colors that anyone walking the steps upwards would observe ,like entering another light dimension with the OBSIDiAN ACTING like some type of POLARIZATION of the light at each step ,giving newer color effects.
